Rafat is a housing officer working within a housing association in North East England.
Rafat would like to support his clients more holistically by helping those struggling with their mental wellbeing to access other support services.

Rafat sought advice from the local Talking Therapies service who direct him to the BCDF website to learn more about behaviour change conversations.

Rafat first clicks on Competency and found the Behaviour Change Literacy eLearning for individuals.
He completes the training which piques his interest on the different things that influence our health and wellbeing.

He wants to learn more about how to put his learning into practice so he took the level assessment tool which recommends he complete Behaviour Change Level 1 training.

He takes a look at the learning resources that are mapped to the Behaviour Change Level 1 competencies and sees that the Making Every Contact Count e-learning is listed.
Rafat recognises this training as it is being offered as a face-to-face training by the local public health team. He signs up and attends the face-to-face course.
After completing the course he feels more confident in talking about mental wellbeing with his clients and signposting them to local services.
