Tina is a Child Social Worker who supports children with complex needs.
Tina is looking to develop her skills in behaviour change conversations so that she can support families solve problems they are facing with more personalised support.
Tina finds the BCDF through her search engine looking for behaviour change conversation tools.

She first clicks on and completes the individual assessment tool which recommends she complete level BC3 training.

Tina goes through the tools and competencies and starts by clicking on the Behaviour Change Literacy training for individuals.

She makes a list in her notes of learning and practical tips. She practices some of the tools and techniques she has learnt with her colleagues.
As she becomes more confident with her learning, she brings the conversational skills and tools to her conversations with the families she works with.
Tina sees improvements in her engagement with her families and she sees that the families are responding well to the behaviour change techniques.
Tina recommends the BCDF to her manager to share across the service and discusses her own development to access training providers who deliver BC3 training.
