HEE Person Centred Approaches Framework

Person-Centred Approaches is a core skills education and training framework that outlines what it means to be person-centred. It includes ways you can develop and support your workforce to engage and work with people in a meaningful and person-centred way. The framework outlines what best practice looks like and the core transferable behaviours, knowledge, and skills for person-centred approaches.

It will also help you gain an insight into what a person-centred approach means to service users. You can use the statements within the framework in your own strategies, plans and communications to highlight how your work takes a person-centred approach.

You can use the resource to inform your own strategies and plans in aiming to improve people’s health.

Values, knowledge, behaviours and skills only: 31 mins
