What Matters to You?

This approach shifts the conversation from “what is wrong with you” to “what matters to you”. It is an international campaign that encourages and supports more conversations between people who provide health and social care and the individuals, families and carers who receive that care.

The toolkit provides you with practical examples of how to support and implement the campaign in your organisation. You can also take a look at what other organisations are doing and how the campaign has impacted their patients and staff.

The campaign will help you to better understand how to tailor care to the actual needs and wants of the individuals you are supporting and have more meaningful communication, using a person-centred approach.
